Trainings company

In the 4th year of the business college in Perg, Austria, I worked in a training company which was called Dagmar Gucci. In this company half of our class worked for the school year. We worked together with other training companies from Austria and also from abroad. Some of them have been our customers, others have been our suppliers. Everything was like in a real company except that we didn’t work with real money. The company dealt with perfumes of different labels.

During the whole year we got a lot of information and earned experience, because the training company provided us the possibility to see how it is to work in a real company.
The training company Dagmar Gucci was divided into a few departments: the management, secretary, marketing, accounting, personnel and purchasing department.
Our manager was Ms Renzl, our form teacher. In our training company we had a job rotation-system, which enabled us to see, how it is to work in the different departments.


I worked in the departments sales/marketing and accounting. There I had to make the following duties:

In the sales/marketing department:
·         determining the range, creation of the catalogue
·         determining the prices and delivery and payment conditions incooperation with the Managing
·         designing and sendign out flyers
·         planing and doing advertising

 
In the accounting department:
·         running bookings
·         check bills and receipts
·         check online-bookings
·         content bookings

in the secretary department
- answer incoming phone calls
- check all the mails and e-mails
- assist the mangement


in the personnel department
- register all employees for health insurance
- organizing the job rotation


in the purchasing department
- purchasing goods
- replacing stocks


in the managment department
- control everything
- leading discussions
